The Primary classes along with Nurture Blue had a lovely day out at Twycross Zoo today, kindly sponsored by the Titans Trust. Despite the rain, children had lots of fun exploring Gruffalo land, seeing the animals, having a picnic and playing on the park. A highlight was some of the children getting right to the orangutans just as the keepers had hidden all their food in the enclosure so we got to watch them hunt for it and enjoy their lunch. The children behaved brilliantly and were a pleasure to take out, with many of them needing a little rest in the minibus on the way back.
